Stateside Covers NCOIL’s Summer Meeting

Written by Ethan Wilson

The e National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) will convene for their 2024 Summer Meeting in Costa Mesa, CA from July 17-20. With more than 60 legislators from 30 states already registered, the NCOIL Summer Meeting will be a great opportunity to connect with lawmakers and discuss some of the most pressing issues facing states today. Topics of discussion will include property insurance affordability crises, retirement security, financial literacy, third-party litigation funding, earned wage access, and workers’ compensation fraud.

NCOIL recently released the meeting’s 30-day materials, including the agenda, committee schedules, and general session topics. We highlight key sessions and events below. Our team will be on the ground covering all committee meetings and policy sessions.
