ARLINGTON, VA- Stateside Associates, Inc. announced today that Johnathan Lozier has joined the firm as Manager, State Issues. Mr. Lozier joins Stateside’s growing Issue Management practice and will provide clients with advocacy consulting, strategic planning and Groups engagement support.
In his role, Mr. Lozier will also work with Stateside’s clients engaging the National Conference of State Legislatures, The Council of State Governments, the national and regional governors groups, the 527 groups and other prominent state and local government organizations.
Mr. Lozier is a highly skilled state government relations professional with experience in advocacy, legislative relations, policy development and strategic communications. Prior to joining Stateside, Mr. Lozier was most recently Manager, Legislator Outreach at Women In Government. In this role, he served as the direct lead between elected officials and the organization, overseeing all legislative communication, email campaigns, recruitment efforts and outreach materials. His efforts led to a 138% increase in legislator attendance over two years.

He has the ability to work well with a wide variety of people- whether that is legislators, corporate sponsors or speakers and panelists. Mr. Lozier has additionally worked for several national and international non-profits, as part of their policy, communications, grassroots and development teams.

A native Oklahoman, he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Studies from East Central University and additionally studied at Georgetown University as part of The Fund for American Studies: Institute on Business and Government Affairs.
