Stateside Associates is seeking an experienced Healthcare Policy Professional to join our growing healthcare practice. This is a mid-level position within the healthcare Regulatory Department which will collaborate with our legislative and political departments to research, compile and synthesize research and information for our clients.
Primary opportunities for contribution will include:
- Actively monitor healthcare activities at the state level and report to and advise clients
- Collaborate with legislative and political departments to compile a wholistic understanding of state policy making
- Manage the production and dissemination of regular reports on topics of client interest
- Work with senior leadership to provide issue management consulting services to clients
- Research, prepare and engagingly deliver, in both virtual and in-person settings, presentations to clients on topics tailored to their specific areas of interest
- Manage projects within the healthcare team, and others as needed, and produce deliverables on or before established timelines
- Serve as a resource of healthcare knowledge for scoping inquiries and general questions from the team
- Provide support to the healthcare regulatory and legislative monitoring services, when necessary
- Assist manager with hiring and onboarding of new employees
To be successful, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 4-7 years of relevant experience including, but not limited to state government (legislative or executive branch), healthcare industries, Capitol Hill, or other related experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare policy, especially as it appears in state legislative and regulatory contexts
- Skilled at project management, writing and analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in presenting and public speaking
