Tyler is the Legislative Issue Manager for K-12 and higher education at Stateside, offering expertise in education policy. He previously served as a Legislative Process Analyst, monitoring legislation across all 50 states, conducting research, and reporting on state legislative processes, including legislative deadlines and unique session-related rules. Tyler's diverse background includes internships with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’s political arm CHC BOLD PAC, contributions to legislative research for Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, and a fellowship with former Congressman Joe Cunningham. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut, Tyler’s concentration in race, gender, and ethnic politics equips him with a nuanced understanding of social issues in the political arena. His experiences and academic background position him as an invaluable asset to Stateside's legislative initiatives.
