Our client was exploring an investment opportunity in an emerging sector of the energy industry. This emerging sector was booming and some state legislatures and local governments were already acting to curtail its growth. The client needed politically sensitive insight into how the issues associated with this business were being joined in state houses and city halls.
Stateside Solution:
We identified all the relevant legislative, regulatory and political activity at the state and local levels and produced a baseline report, which is now provided quarterly. The baseline report required two days to complete.
Each report analyzes enacted and pending bills and regulatory activity. We also report about the style of governance in each target jurisdiction. Our in-house staff of legislative and regulatory experts responds to client questions and provides updates between quarterly reports upon client request.
