- The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) has been hosting virtual Legislative Leaders Series and has introduced two new events. Virtual Roundtables, which will offer the ability for members to speak with multiple legislators in a small group format and the first session of its Legislative Working Group, which convenes a group of senior staff members to top Democratic state legislative leaders.
- The National Association of Counties (NACo) will hold multiple webinars this month entitled Long-Range Planning for Health, Equity, and Prosperity; the 2020 Census; and Counties Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Small Business Support.
- The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Task Force on State and Local Taxation is holding three virtual meetings this month.The NCSL Task Force on State and Local Taxation is also holding virtual meetings on May 8 and May 15 to analyze the impact of the CARES Act on state tax systems, state tax administration and compliance in the COVID-19 era, and revitalizing state revenue streams.
