We are seeking a full-time creative, forward-thinking, and organized digital marketing strategist. In this position, you will work with the business development team and will be responsible for ideating, planning, writing, and executing various digital content to promote our services, build brand awareness, promote thought leadership, and generate leads.

You must have excellent writing and visual presentation skills and be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all marketing channels (Organic, Social, Paid) which includes landing pages, blogs, reports, infographics, etc. You must also have experience with defining metrics and setting specific objectives to track marketing performance and inform decision-making. Experience working with state and/or local policy issues is preferable.



  • Craft, execute, and maintain digital marketing strategy to grow website traffic and increase conversions.
  • Identify, write, and publish various policy-related marketing content for audiences on all marketing channels.
  • Worked collaboratively with SEO vendor to monitor keyword rankings and identify opportunities to boost digital visibility.
  • Create appealing images and videos consistent with branding themes to complement marketing materials and social media posts.
  • Track, analyze, and report marketing results using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite to help inform business development team decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop various content (i.e., blogs, trend reports, case studies).
  • Recommend and implement online advertising, pay-per-click (PPC) and lead gen campaigns to generate quality leads (LinkedIn).
  • Establish relationships with online communities by identifying key partner organizations, news outlets and policy organizations that fit our strategy and brand.
  • Establish consistent voice across cross-functional departments and contributors.
  • Manage website content and ongoing website maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing / social media preferably with a focus on local and/or state policy issues.
  • Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Hootsuite)
  • Email Marketing (Constant Contact)
  • Paid Acquisition (LinkedIn)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Graphic Design (Canva)
  • Proficiency in one or more social media listening platforms.
  • Experience using web analytics and creating reports.
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong writing skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills.
